Chicken Katsu


all-purpose flour
salt and pepper
chicken breast
1 egg, lightly beaten
panko bread crumbs
vegetable oil


Mix four, salt, and pepper in a bowl, and dredge the chicken breast in the flour. Next, dip the chicken breast into the beaten egg, then coat it with panko bread crumbs.  In a skillet, add some vegetable oil and fry the chicken breast until both sides are golden brown. Remove and drain excess oil on a plate with paper towels. Slice the katsu into pieces and serve with katsu sauce and a bowl of rice.
